Troms Kraft Nett establishes its entire IT  environment on Intility’s technology platform

Troms Kraft  Nett provides IT services to Troms Kraft AS and Troms Kraft Produktion. Troms  Kraft is the leading energy group in Northern Norway with around 300 employees  and headquarters in Tromsø. The company produces, distributes and sells power. The production of 1.1TWh renewable power takes place in 11 hydropower plants  and a wind farm. The network company is one of Norway’s largest network owners  and develops, monitors and maintains power lines of over 10,000 kilometers in  partly challenging topography to about 75,000 customers.

Intility’s technology platform will ensure end-to-end responsibility for the entire Troms Kraft IT environment across nearly 30 offices, power plants and substations. The platform will be a foundation for the company’s efforts to utilize IT to increase its own competitiveness and to digitize ever larger parts of its core  business.

Intility is continuously upgraded with new functionality and includes, among other things, an extensive partner ecosystem where technologies from a number of  industry-leading companies are fully integrated with the IT environments of each company at Intility. The agreement comprises a wide range of services from Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, seamlessly integrated with the IT environment of Troms Kraft on Intility.

Troms Kraft will be protected by Intility’s security platform, which is continuously upgraded as global threat develop. A comprehensive security architecture and 24/7 security monitoring based on, among other things, Argus Managed Defense that Intility delivers in collaboration with Mnemonic, is part of the platform delivery.
